A 2017 Throwback

Good Morning Princesses,

A 2017 Throwback. We'll be back to our regularly scheduled programming next week, but for now, let's revisit...

"God's past FAITHFULNESS motivates OUR HOPE for the FUTURE"

Yakhal- "Hope"

As you may know, this week, we are approaching an important day that radically changed everything. Easter Sunday ~ HOPE ~

For those of you that observe Lent, this is the last week of Lent. Here's a quick recap of Holy Week (Passion Week), the final seven days of Jesus’ earthly ministry.

Palm Sunday, March 25th Palm Sunday is the day we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, one week before His resurrection.

(Matthew 21:1–11)

Holy Wednesday (Spy Wednesday), March 28th

On this day Judas made a bargain with the high priest to betray Jesus for 30 silver pieces. (Matthew 26:14-16; Mark 14:10-11; Luke 22:1-6)

Maudy Thursday (Holy Thursday), March 29th

The name was given to the day on which Jesus celebrated the Passover with His disciples, known as the Last Supper. Two important events are the focus of Maundy Thursday. First, Jesus celebrated the Last Supper with His disciples, also called Communion. (Luke 22:19-20) Second, Jesus washed the disciples’ feet as an act of humility and service, thereby setting an example that we should love and serve one another in humility. (John 13:3-17)

Good Friday (Holy Friday), March 30th

The day on which Jesus was crucified. As is it is found in Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners".

Holy Saturday, March 31st

Holy Saturday is the name given to the day between Good Friday and Easter Sunday. It is also the seventh day of Holy Week, as the day on which Jesus “rested” from His work of providing salvation.

As Jesus died, He called out, “It is finished!” There was no further price to pay; sin had been atoned for.

We have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe” (1 Tim 4:10) because “Jesus Christ [is] our hope”. (1 Tim 1:1; Psalm 33:22)

This week, let's celebrate Jesus Christ, our hope! Included in the Godcast is a special Bible Project segment on "HOPE".

Oh, princesses of faith...remember

Prayerempowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy. Without prayer… your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."

Closing Thoughts-

Know that through the Holy Spirit you can:

· do things you couldn't;

· feel things you didn't; and

· know things you wouldn't.
