A Message from GO! Women's Small Group Bible Study:

Good Morning Ladies!

Thank you for being a part of GO's! first bible study journey.  The six sessions went by so fast.  I believe that if we look back on our journey we can all smile because we all came looking for something and God answered our call.  Something indeed came to all of us in a big way. (I have embeded two songs Breathe Into Me and Holy Spirit Come for you this week).

The Journey...

"We are not who we used to be and we are not yet who we are going to be." Breathe Into Me

Amazing that it wasn't by chance that we all came together and it wasn't by chance that God revealed Himself to us and made it abundantly clear that He is our "Ruah"- spirit, breath.

He alone holds all things together (Colossians 1:16-17).

As we close our Session 6, we are at a crossroad... to float or be immersed in the Holy Spirit?  To fulfill our calling? To lose faith in ourself?  To believe that our dry bones can live? (Ezekiel 37:11-14)

To give you some perspective, think back to the demonstration of the little bottle floating in the large vase of water.  It was just floating until it was filled.  Once filled, the bottle was immersed in the vase of water.   James 2:26 stated that "life is in the spirit".

Holy Spirit Move On Me... Come Holy Spirit

"What if we lived like every single chapter of our life might be the last one?"

In our closing prayer (see page 61 of your study guide for the full pray) we prayed to:

live a life that demonstrates God's Spirit; to fulfill our calling; to live life boldly, love others outrageously, see God revealed, hear God speak, know Jesus, and experience Jesus.

To do so, we need the Holy Spirit.

Jesus, thank you for being our Lord and Savior, thank you for breathing your Spirit into us.  Let your Holy Spirit surround us and move on and in us daily.
