1. VICTORY

This week we will continue with our praise and worship thanking God for who HE is, but what HE has done and is doing and has already promised to do in our lives. Even in times of his greatest dispair, David found strength in the Lord...

But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted; you consider their grief and take it in hand. The victims commit themselves to you;  you are the helper of the fatherless. Psalm 10:14

And David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because all the people were bitter in soul, each for his sons and daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God. 1 Samuel 30:6

Princesses, as Christians we know that in this life we will have trouble.  We also know that in this life we are in a battle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms...

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:10-12 (NIV)

So, how do we continue to stand firm when we are distressed, our faith is a little shaky and we are in dispair...Praise, Rememberance and Commitment At ALL Times.

Honoring God through praise, commitment and rememberance "causes the human heart to undergo a dramatic change—from frightened to courageous". (Charles Stanley 2016)

In your spare time, take a look at the story of King Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20 who was told by messengars that a great multitude was coming against him.  While King Jehoshaphat's first emotion was fear, he then remembered God's sovereignty and faithfulness and he proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.  King Jehoshaphat Praised, Remembered and Committed.

Take a look a the following...

So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good. 1 Peter 4:19 (NIV)

25 Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you.

26 Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.

27 Do not turn to the right or the left;  keep your foot from evil.Proverbs 4:25-27 (NIV)

Dear Princesses, in your alone time with God this week as you pray, any challenges, fears, concerns that you have, commit them to the Lord.  Praise Him for what he has done, remember God's sovereignty and past faithfulness and commit to the Lord to strenghten you.  Know that God will provide an answer in your seemingly hopeless situation and watch how He alone can transform your from frightened to a courageous Princess (wearing your Father's armor to boot!).

2. The Big "W" and Little "w" Factor

Can I let you in on a secret you already know?  It's not what comes of the battle, but who!  Though each battle God is working on a victory in us.  Yes, that's right us. While we might be looking for a big "W" (win) on the outside (in our particular situation), know that the little "w" (win) is really the big "W" (win) happening inside our hearts. He's molding us Princesses, creating in us the person we were born to become!  YES Lord!

Let's Celebrate...The end game in every situation is that our testimony will point to HIM, our faith will become stronger and a beacon for others, our hearts will yearn more to please our Father, to be the women of God we were always meant to be.

The little "w's" (wins) are happening all through our Christian journey. The real victory, our victory in Jesus Christ (our Savior) is the fulfillment of our ministry.... that my friends is the Big Win!
