Entrusted

Good Morning Princesses!

Thank you for your continued prayers. We are moving into Week 2 of Entrusted and my prayer is that we we will keep each other uplifted and encouraged along our new journey this Fall 2016.

Where Were You When?

For those of you that are working through the homework from Week 1, on Day 3, Beth asks the following question, "Where were you when?"  As we remember September 11th (15 years ago), for many, this day will be their "where were you?".  In a family conversation about September 11, my husband commented to our daughters that every generation has their "where were you when..." moment. For the early Christians and those living in A.D. 30, perhaps the glaring question was, "where were you when Jesus was crucified?"

This question of "where were you when" is magnified further when God posed the question to Job in Job 38:4, "Where were you when I established the earth?" and particularly pointed in verse 21 when God asks Job, "Don't you know? You were already born; you have lived so long!

THE BIG GOAL

As we begin this new study, we listed one ENORMOUS goal: Mighty servants of God turned loose on this globe in the great name of Jesus.

This Fall 2016, as we ramp up our effectiveness (Acts 14:1) take note of where you are now as God is at work in your life.  Through Him and over the course of this next couple of weeks, the word of Christ will stir in you.  We will learn Christ's story so that we can tell our story.  What's our story?  What's your testimony? It is how God is working in your life; remembering where you were back when and thanking God for where you are now.

Stay The Course

Take a look at an excerpt from Entrusted, Beth Moore (LifeWay Press)

Until we see Jesus face-to-face, our journeys won’t be straight lines nearly as often as they will be a series of loops rolling us forward by circling us back to faith.

Entrusted and entrusting. Will we trust Him with the suffering He’s entrusted to us? Will we believe He has purpose? Do we have vision enough to believe He’s planning one of the biggest harvests of our lives through the seed of the Word we’re sowing through this hard season? Desperation can fertilize our soil and tears can water our seed like no ease could ever hope to. Are we willing to believe that right on the other side of this life is a party of epic proportions where we’ll ecstatically rejoice and share in His unfathomable inheritance?

Stay the course, princesses.  God has entrusted in us a mighty plan for His great glory. Amen!
