FerVent Prayer ~ Strategy 2: Your Focus- Pulling Back The Curtain

Updated: Feb 17, 2020

Let's GO!...

Ephesians 6:18 tells us that praying at all times in the Spirit, will infuse the armor and through the Holy Spirit we will be given the strength we need to be the ambassadors (the warrior princesses) to fulfill our ministry He has called us to for this time; this season

1. NEW!!! Weekly Video Log

How's the reading coming? Keep in mind that we will be going live for our online check-in on July 5th. Until then, please continue to stay prayerful over our read this summer. Also, check out the video logs that will guide our conversation. Each video is less than 10 minutes long.

(Keep in mind that for each strategy there are verses listed in the book as well. Feel free to journal the verse listed in the GO! Monday report below or use the ones listed in the book).

Questions, feel free to email.

2. Last Week's Video Log- Your Passion

Apologies for last week. Here's last week's video.

3. Getting It Back When It's Gone - Strategy 2 => Your Focus

(running time 9:41 min-- the last 3 minutes refer to the study that ran in 2016)

Priscilla discusses on pages 46-47, putting on the full armor of God and walks us through each piece of armor, our battleground equipment. While I have read Ephesians 6:10-17 many times, this time, one particular piece of equipment caught my attention, the Helmet of Salvation.

"Salvation is both our eternal security with Christ as well as the full inheritance we've been given because of our relationship with Him. It includes our blessing, status, and identity -- everything we received that enables us to live victoriously for Him!" (FerVent, page 47)

Did any piece of equipment speak to you? If you haven't read Ephesians 6:10-17 in a while, take a few minutes to do so. Pray over the verses and if any verse speaks to you, write it down and meditate on that particular verse or verses this week. Here's another verse to think upon:

Do not rejoice over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will stand up; though I sit in darkness,

the Lord will be my light. (Micah 7:8)

Oh, princesses of faith...remember

Prayerempowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy. Without prayer… your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."

Closing Thoughts-

Know that through the Holy Spirit you can:

· do things you couldn't;

· feel things you didn't; and

· know things you wouldn't.
