Ephesians 6:18 tells us that praying at all times in the Spirit, will infuse the armor and through the Holy Spirit we will be given the strength we need to be the ambassadors (the warrior princesses) to fulfill our ministry He has called us to for this time; this season

A Proactive Action Step
"Our spiritual ear will never be sensitive to His voice if we have a personal agenda to which we are already committed. God leads and speaks to the humble who have surrendered their plans and want to do His will. With an open heaven and a surrendered will we will be able to clearly hear God's voice in our hearts. - Jim Cymbala
Do you mind staying with the "obey" conversation for a little while longer? I know it's a conversation that could be discussed for months, but let's just take another week to review the fundamental premise.
What's the key to unlocking God's blessing?

Will you obey?
Take a look at the sentence underlined above in green. What thoughts resonate with you? Do you see any action words? "Surrendered their plans", "Want to do". Hearing God's voice takes some proactive action on our part. We must be willing to do something; yield, surrender our plans to do God's will. Remember the verses from last week? If not, take a look below at the verse and the action phrases in bold:
Luke 11:28 - He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
Matthew 16:24-25 -24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
John 6:38 - For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.
Hearing God's voice...takes a proactive action and intentionality. What can you commit to doing this week, even if for a few minutes to begin taking a proactive stance to posture yourself, surrender and yield to hear God's voice? Jot your proactive stance down this week. We'll check in next week with the primary way to hear God's voice.
