1. A Proactive Action Step- Stay Prayerful

Ok, so just to make sure we're all on the same page.

Hearing God's voice requires Listening and Obedience. This primary voice is God, the Holy Trinity, God the Holy Spirit. We must be willing to hear, listen and follow (obey). Now writing the previous statement is a lot easier some days than others. Why, do you ask? Well, as Priscilla stated in this study, as Christians, "our spirits are saved, but our souls and bodies still need some serious work". (Discerning the Voice of God- Week 2)

One verse that is listed each week hits the mark. It recognizes that prayer is the linchpin. Wondering about the verse that I referenced? It's listed right at the top of the page. I'll list it below as well:

Ephesians 6:18 tells us that praying at all times in the Spirit, will infuse the armor and through the Holy Spirit we will be given the strength we need to be the ambassadors (the warrior princesses) to fulfill our ministry He has called us to for this time; this season.

Notice in Ephesians that it tells us to pray at all times in the Spirit. Not a coincidence, huh? Living in the fullness of God- the Holy Spirit is a daily process of asking Christ to continually fill us with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5 "Paul states being filled with Holy Spirit", this is a continual process). Asking God to continue to fill us so that we can be obedient so that we can experience the fullness of God is a daily occurrence. It prepares us for the day and our act of prayer, we are demonstrating obedience, that we need God and that we cannot make this walk alone. I'll get to this in the next few paragraphs.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:23-24

With so many distractions in our world, our focused prayers are critical. Just like Jacob realized during his all-night wrestling match with God, that he wasn't strong enough or big enough to handle life alone; he needed God and so do you and I. While Jacob didn't "win" the physical match, he did gain so much more. (Genesis 32:27-32)

We need the Holy Spirit each day to guide us. Take a look at the statement below (it's highlighted). It's listed each week, you may or may not have noticed it, but for this week, take a look and meditate on the three statements. Good is good, He does good things and wants good things for me.

The video catalog is still underway. This week, I'm sharing another example of the filling of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Michael Strickland- Cove Church- filled with the Holy Spirit demonstration is a continuous process that requires God's help.

Oh, princesses of faith...remember

Prayerempowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy. Without prayer… your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."

Closing Thoughts-

Know that through the Holy Spirit you can:

· do things you couldn't;

· feel things you didn't; and

· know things you wouldn't.
