Morning Blessings, Princesses!

A Look At Grace

When you think about the word "Grace", what comes to mind? Now, when you think about God's grace, what comes to mind? Take a look at the following:

When I was a young adult, my Great Aunt Ruthie Mae would always end our conversations with "by the grace of God." I must admit that as a young adult, I did not truly appreciate the phrase.

I mean, I understood somewhat, but now, many years later, as I reflect on our many conversations over the phone, while traveling, or at her house for a visit, this phrase of 5 words was so powerful.

They were and are a sign of respect, humbleness, and recognition of God's power. God's promises. God's favor. God's love. God's grace. My Aunt Ruthie Mae has now joined our fellow brothers and sisters in the Spirit and is with our Lord and Savior, and oh how I can still hear her say these words. I thank her in this GO! Report for planting this seed within me. Little did I know (God you knew!) that it would take root and bloom into the conversation this week. Thank you, Lord, for your grace!

Now, read aloud the following verses:

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16
But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:
“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble." James 4:6

Ezekiel ~ A Beautiful Story of God's Grace

"Where is God when your world falls apart, when God’s promises seem impossibly far off, when the enemy seems to have the upper hand, and it feels as if God does not see and does not care? Ezekiel knew from bitter experience the reality and pain of those questions."

Lawrence, M. (2018, April 18). Why Study the Book of Ezekiel? Crossway. https://www.crossway.org/articles/why-study-the-book-of-ezekiel/.

The book of Ezekiel provides a compelling and beautiful look at God's grace. Undeserving and unearned, we see God's grace extended to the children of Israel (for example, take a look at Ezekiel Chapter 16, 36, 37 38, and 39). Similar to the children of Israel, God's grace extends to us.

Undeserving,

Unmerited, and

Unearned Favor.

Each day God extends His grace to us in so many ways. It is by grace that we are saved.

But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvelous grace. Then it pleased him. Galatians 1:15

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

AMEN

Oh, princesses of faith...remember.

Prayerempowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy.  Without prayer…  your armor cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s - Spirit can give."
