Reflection Time In 3 Parts
Heavenly Father strengthen us as we pour out so that You can pour in and lead us as we pour forth in Your name. Amen
June 14, 2021
Morning Blessings, Princesses!
Let's start today with an African philosophy that is part of a Zulu phrase and has been quoted by both Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela:
"I am, because you are"
We are going to use this phrase as a lead into our verse that will be displayed in three parts.
Before we begin take a moment to pray. Ask God to highlight the pages of His word so that it is clear and understandable to you and me. Oh Lord, speak to your humble servants. Amen.
Part 1- Read the following and jot down one word or phrase that comes to mind.
25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.
Part 2- Read the next verse and jot down one word or phrase that comes to mind.
26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
Part 3- Read the last verse and jot down one word or phrase that comes to mind.
27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 1 Corinthians 12:25-27
As you reflect on the verses and your jotted notes, what thoughts came to mind? If you had to sum it up in one phrase, what would it be? For me, the phrase would be "we are all connected". Take some time this week to not only think about your jotted notes but the entire passage and ask God to show you where you can bring light and salt this week. Whether it be at home, with family, work colleagues, or in the community, ask God to remind you of His love and bring to you opportunities to show His love in our world.
I am because you are.
We are because God loved us first.
We love you, Lord. Thank you.

Oh, princesses of faith...remember.
Prayer “empowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy. Without prayer… your armor cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s - Spirit can give."
Know that through the Holy Spirit, you can:
do things you couldn't;
feel things you didn't; and
know things you wouldn't.
GO! 6/14/21- New feature, contains a playlist of songs for your praise and worship time.
