God Knows Your Name

The Patriarchs ~ Week 8

Good Morning Princesses,

Prologue ~ A Series of Thoughts...

As I began to write this week's GO! Report, I quickly glanced at my calendar and realized that we were already into the second week of January.

As soon as this thought moved from my main focus another thought came to mind. Well, to be precise it was two words: "Time" and "Always".

  • In times of questionings, God is there. Every second, minute and hour.

  • In times of wondering, the Lord is with us always.

These thoughts soon drifted me into thinking about the Lord and His timeless faithfulness. I know those two words are a little awkward together but just think about it for a moment... TIMELESS FAITHFULNESS.

As you read the next three sections I pray that you too will have a series of thoughts about God's timeless faithfulness.

To get you started, ask the Lord to quiet the noise so that you can hear only Him. Pray that the Holy Spirit will highlight the pages of His words so that you can see only Him. Meditate during this reading and ask the Lord to open your heart to receive, understand, believe and walk out the path that He has specially designed for you.

1. God Is With You ~ Trustworthy

As we continue our study of Joseph one thing is for certain. Embedded throughout Joseph's story found in Genesis Chapter 37- 50 is a phrase or a version thereof that is seen throughout these chapters.

The Lord was with Joseph.

As children of the Almighty Abba, we are not forgotten. He is loyal to you.

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. Isaiah 43:2

2. God Is Working on Your Behalf ~ Always

No matter what the circumstances may be, as His child, He is always working on your behalf. His will prevails for your good.

Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10

3. God Knows Your Name ~ Forever

Take a look back at #1 and #2. Now read the following...

God is trustworthy. "No human has the power to overlook what God determines to oversee." Beth Moore, The Patriarchs, Encountering the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob (2005).

Beloved, read, hear and believe what the Lord has promised even before you were born.

You are not forgotten. Timeless faithfulness. Thank you, Lord!

Oh, princesses of faith...remember

Prayerempowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy.  Without prayer…  your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."
