A Time for Peace; A Time of Favor

Heavenly Father strengthen us as we pour out so that You can pour in and lead us as we pour forth in Your name. Amen

December 7, 2020

Good Morning Princesses,

Advent Week 2

This week starts the second week of Advent. The theme, "peace". As found in Luke 2:14,

“Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

Notice in the above verse the two words highlighted: peace and favor.

In a challenging time where there is unrest, stress, fear, and uncertainty, there is a peace that we can have as children of the Almighty.

This kind of peace is one that from a world perspective cannot be understood, but through the power of the Holy Spirit even in times of unrest, we are blessed (Psalm 29:11) and have unspeakable peace and joy (Proverbs 12:20). Why? Because as Christians we the "those whom His favor rests". (Isaiah 54:10 and Luke 2:14) Amen!

Continuing With Ezekiel 20-22

In the next set of chapters, God reveals to Ezekiel that His judgment is imminent. However, even though the judgment is certain, God still shows His favor through a remnant. Take a look at the following verses and what has been underlined.

Remnant; Hope; Peace.

From the time of Ezekiel to today, even now our trust and hope are in God alone.

8 Yet I will leave a remnant, so that you may have some who escape the sword among the nations, when you are scattered through the countries. (Ezekiel 6:8)

21 “For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgments—sword and famine and wild beasts and plague—to kill its men and their animals! 22 Yet there will be some survivors—sons, and daughters who will be brought out of it. They will come to you, and when you see their conduct and their actions, you will be consoled regarding the disaster I have brought on Jerusalem—every disaster I have brought on it. 23 You will be consoled when you see their conduct and their actions, for you will know that I have done nothing in it without cause, declares the Sovereign Lord.” (Ezekiel 14:21-23)

Remember who you are in Christ.
Goodness and Mercy walks with us daily.
Thank you Lord for your favor, peace, grace and mercy.
Amen. Yes, Lord.

Oh, princesses of faith...remember

Prayerempowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy.  Without prayer…  your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s - Spirit can give."
