Even In This Time...
Good Morning Princesses!
Over the last few weeks, we have held Women On The GO! Prayer sessions. Each Tuesday, we read scriptures, meditate on these scriptures and pray God's word. As I reflect upon the prayer sessions, I am simply in awe. There is power in the scriptures princesses. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 4:12:
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Even in this time, God's word is alive and active. In fact, this week is not just an ordinary week. It is a time to remember the events of Jesus' life from Palm Sunday to His death and victorious Resurrection. It is a week that was foretold by the scriptures, where Old Testament prophecies are fulfilled. It is a week like none other.
1. Holy Week
Over the course of this week, please take some time to read or listen to Luke chapters 19-23.
Included in this week's playlist is a video excerpt from The Bible Project highlighting these chapters and a "song of the day" for you to listen to each day during Holy Week. As you read or listen to these chapters and listen to the songs on the playlist think about the following:
- The Passion of Jesus (in His life, death, and resurrection); and
- How we as ambassadors for Christ can continue to walk out this same passion each day through our praise, worship, and sharing of the Gospel.
2. GO! 2020 Spring Bible Study Update- PLEASE REGISTER THIS WEEK
