ShowTime!

Heavenly Father strengthen us as we pour out so that You can pour in and lead us as we pour forth in Your name. Amen

October 19, 2020

Good Morning Princesses,

God's Ways...

Major League Baseball (MLB) has a saying of where they bring players from the minors up to the majors, it's called being called to "the show". We'll get to this theme a little further down, (keep reading), but for now, the theme of "time" is still at the top of the conversation list. Yes, I know, Time. Frankly, time seems to be a topic for most of the world's conversations right now.

  • When will there be a cure for the pandemic?

  • When will our economy go back to normal?

  • How how long will students work virtually or be out of school?

  • What will the winter season look like for all of us?

Questions upon questions?

The central theme of each question is all related to TIME!

You Gotta Have Faith and Trust

Our trust is demonstrated through faith. Recognizing that Christ is the author of time. He Is the Alpha and Omega. Faith trusts in God and His Word. We cannot experience faith in God if we do not trust Him. We need both faith and trust in our relationship with Christ.

As for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord’s word is flawless;
he shields all who take refuge in him. (Psalm 18:30)

According to The Free Dictionary by Farlex take a look at the following acronyms for FAITH. As you review the list note a few of the ones that resonate with you.

In Ezekiel chapters 4-5 the watchman's assignment is issued. ShowTime! As we travel through the book of Ezekiel we will see that he demonstrates both FAITH and TRUST in each task.

Similar to Ezekiel, as Christians in our "walk", God has also called us up to "the show". ShowTime! As ambassadors and princesses in a royal priesthood, we are chosen to be the salt and light in our world.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:13)

Our journey (or walk) requires Trust, but also, Faith.

Processing Your Grains/Chapters Revisited?

Did you get a chance to reflect last week on the following questions? If not, take a look:

If you were to catalog each " grain of sand" or "chapter" how would you you title your grains of sand (chapters)?
How would God title your grains of sand (chapters)?

Thank you, Lord...

Amen. Yes, Lord.

Oh, princesses of faith...remember

Prayerempowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy.  Without prayer…  your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."

Closing Thoughts

Know that through the Holy Spirit you can:

  • do things you couldn't;

  • feel things you didn't; and

  • know things you wouldn't.
