1. Two Words to Enrich Your Soul
While we have closed out our study of the Patriarchs and are gearing up for our study on the three books of John found in the New Testament, one thought continues to linger. Fro Genesis to Revelation, all sixty-six books are tied together by a magnificent and awesome God who transcends time, space and all that we could ever think or imagine. Wow!
For this week, just two words for your mediation and thoughts...Sovereign God. What do those words mean to you?
When you think about our mighty God, does the word "sovereign" come to mind? When you think about your life's valleys and mountains, how do you visualize God?
“I Am Alpha And Omega, The Beginning And The Ending,” saith the Lord, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:8 (KJ21 Version)
he Master declares, “I’m A to Z. I’m The God Who Is, The God Who Was, and The God About to Arrive. I’m the Sovereign-Strong.” Revelation 1:8 (Message)
As you think about these words, be sure to listen to the playlist song this week. Just one song, but so powerful.
2. Our Next Study! Starting March 17th!
"What Love Is~ The Letters of 1, 2, 3 John" by Kelly Minter
The letters of 1, 2, & 3 John were written to encourage followers of Jesus to remain faithful to the truth. Believers are challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness, truth versus lies and deception, loving God more than loving the world, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness. This study reveals not only the heart of John but also the heart of Jesus.
Oh, princesses of faith...remember
Prayer “empowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy. Without prayer… your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."
