"THE AUTHOR" of Time

Heavenly Father strengthen us as we pour out so that You can pour in and lead us as we pour forth in Your name. Amen

September 21, 2020

Good Morning Princesses,

1. God Is "The Author" of Time

As we continue to celebrate the fifth anniversary of GO!, one word comes to mind.

Time.

Yes, time. Take a look at the following verses:

Before the mountains were brought forth,

Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,

Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. (Psalm 90:2)

For a thousand years in Your sight

Are like yesterday when it is past,

And like a watch in the night. (Psalm 90:4)

For thus says the High and Lofty One

Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: (Isaiah 57:15)

From these verses, we see that Moses indicates in Psalm 90 that God's eternity is the answer to our problem with time (Forerunner Commentary) and in the Book of Isaiah we learn that God inhabits eternity, declaring the end from the beginning.

For Ezekiel, at the age of 30 (at a time when he was eligible for priesthood), time stood still when he received his inaugural vision from God.

In my thirtieth year, in the fourth month on the fifth day, while I was among the exiles by the Kebar River, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God.
On the fifth of the month—it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin (Ezekiel 1:1-2)

Because God is the author of time, know that...

2. God's Timing Is Always Perfect

All of our So Far's and There To's are working together for God's glory.

Here are a few quotes to give you some perspective on God's timing:

“With God, there’s always an appointed time for things, and when you put Him first, trust in His timing, and keep the faith, miracles happen!” ― Germany Kent
“It is good to remind ourselves that the will of God comes from the heart of God and that we need not be afraid.”
“God’s timing is magnificent.” ― Lailah Gifty Akita
“Sometimes we have to let our dreams go in order to allow God to bring them back to us – in his way and his timing.”
“Everything is subject to God’s timing and everything depends on it” ― Sunday Adelaja

God knows exactly where He needs us to be and when.

While in exile Ezekiel begins his prophetic ministry. Because God is is "THE AUTHOR" of time, age, location and status , etc. have no standing.

His timing is always perfect and He will do as He pleases. Yes, God can and will use us according to His timetable and not ours. Take a moment and think back about your life. As you mentally record certain moments of your past and present, know that God has always had His hand on you. Rest and believe (Romans 8:28).

Thank you Lord for your vision of my life.

Amen. Yes, Lord.

Oh, princesses of faith...remember

Prayerempowers and ‘charges up’ every other piece so they can be used effectively against the enemy.  Without prayer…  your armor, cannot, will not, be infused with the power that only God’s-Spirit can give."
